Jessica “Powerhouse” Anderson is an independent gospel artist from Columbia, South Carolina. Known for her dynamic stage presence, she earned the nickname Powerhouse Anderson through countless performances and auditions. Her powerful, soulful voice has opened for many renowned gospel artists, including Martha Manizee, Ann Nesbit, and The Mickens, among others.
About Jessica Powerhouse
A prolific songwriter, Jessica has written music and jingles for years, with her work airing on radio stations and internet radio nationwide. Her songs—such as “My Mama’s Hugs,” “There Is a God,” and “Jesus the Rock”have garnered nominations from the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards, where she won two honors: Best Female Vocalist of the Year (2025) and Best Contemporary Female Vocalist (2025). Her contributions have also been recognized by the National Songwriter Convention (Memphis, TN, 2025).
Looking ahead, Jessica has been nominated for the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards (2026) and earned three nominations from the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards (2026). She is the founder and owner of Powerhouse Explosion, a brand through which she performs original music, memorable gospel hits, and jazz tunes to audiences around the world.
